Question by Emmy: What can I get my friends for a gift exchange?
My friends and I are having a little gift exchange for each other and we all have to get gifts for one another. The problem is I have no idea what to get each of them!!! Here’s a little info of each. Could you help me think of some things to get each of them?

Friend 1: This friend is a complete sweet heart! She’s a girly girl but she also likes bands like “Escape the Fate” and “Never Shout Never.” I trust her with everything! She also has an Iphone if that helps? She plays the guitar and loves to be cutsie. Also, she’s a school cheerleader.

Friend 2: This friend is just extremely nice! She plays soccer and loves to talk. She is one of those girly girl, converse and abercrombie shirts, wearing girls.

Friend 3: This one of my friends is a COMPLETE girly girl. She has an ipod touch and loves to talk about boys. She cheers for a competitive squad along with me and is a total girl. She loves pink and flowers, and all that kind of stuff!

Friend 4: This friend is a smarty! She loves to read so much that she has a Kindle that she takes with her to school and everywhere. She pushes herself so hard to make good grades too! I know she LOVES to netflix movies on her wii and our favorite saying is “boo you whore.” Shes a big fan of Purdue and likes Victorias Secret pink clothes.

Friend 5: This friend is also a major girly girl! She always has on the cutest clothes and she LOVES to do makeup. She wears lots of cute little accessories and glitter and all that kind of fun flashy stuff! She is a big planner too.

Friend 1: I would get her a makeup kit. They sell really neat ones for about $ 20 at kmart, walmart, target, etc. I know I would have fun with a makeup kit.

Friend 2: Perhaps a blouse or shirt from the mall? I would stay clear of Abercrombie because she probably owns too many.

Friend 3: Cannot go wrong with makeup kit #2 on this one. Or even get her a really nice fragrance.

Friend 4: I would get her a gift card at Barnes and Nobles. I myself would adore a gift card for BnN. cx

Friend 5: Again, makeup kit is wonderful. Also, anything at Claire’s seems would fit her type.

Kindle DX with free 3G: I just got a kindle.
Positive: E-ink is amazing. Easy on the eyes for my long readings. Amazon has a large selection of books for kindle (BUT not all my textbooks are on there D: ) Long battery life is great. Light and portable. Text to speech option for when im walking. Ability to do notes and bookmarks helpful for class setting.
Negative: 3G doesnt always work for me. Ill try and buy a book and it says that it cant make the connection. No page number for when my teacher says “look at the chart on page 16). Not too many other options for ‘fun’ options like applications or internet searching (but thats also a good thing so it doesnt distract me from reading!)

IPad:
Positive: More ‘fun’ features when around Wi-Fi(I cant afford paying for 3G every month). Backlighting for when in the dark reading (Neg: Hurts my eyes in my long readings…), can put my music and IPod videos on it.
Neg: Not as many textbook availabilities as the kindle(unless I download the kindle app- then its equal), dont get free 3G, less battery life, not good for long readings

Nook Color:
Positive: color is nice, android option (

Neg: Backlighting hurts the eyes for long readings, not as many textbooks available as kindle (maybe use android option and add kindle app?)

i prefer the kindle and the ipad but the choice is yours the kindles got a wide varity of books so does the ipad but i would take the kindle for many reasons:
never crashes unlike the ipad ibooks and other ebook apps for an example i had the ipad and was reading liek a 1000 page book and i was somewhere in the book and it crashed and no book mark so i had to look for the page
